EAN 2023 | Bridging gaps and embracing AI: goals of the EAN Congress

Laszlo Csiba, MD, PhD, DSci, University of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary, discusses the goals of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) 2023 Congress organized in collaboration with the Hungarian Neurological Society, held in Budapest. The first goal was to bridge the gap between neurologists from Eastern and Western countries, recognizing that diseases, including neurological disorders, connect us at the scientific and healthcare levels. The second goal focused on the revolution in neurology, particularly in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders. The introduction of artificial intelligence has brought about a new era in this field of medicine. The conference aimed to explore the details of this revolution and discuss the application of artificial intelligence in daily practice. This interview took place at the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) 2023 Congress in Budapest, Hungary.
