Priyanka Shah-Basak, PhD, Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, discusses the current evidence for non-invasive neuromodulation techniques to treat post-stroke aphasia. Dr Shah-Basak highlights that while the evidence for these techniques is still in the research stage, the goal is to optimize their effects to be used in conjunction with speech-language therapy.
