MDS 2022 | High-quality education to improve quality of care of people with movement disorders

Francisco Cardoso, MD, PhD, FAAN, The Federal University of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and President of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS), shares the goals for the MDS and highlights the continued efforts to provide high-quality education in movement disorders to healthcare professionals. With the number of patients with movement disorders worldwide expected to increase during the next years, their educational activities focus on improving the diagnosis and quality of care of people with movement disorders. This interview took place at the 2022 International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders in Madrid, Spain.
