ECTRIMS 2022 | Implementing MS imaging biomarkers into everyday practice

Cristina Granziera, MD, PhD, University Hospital of Basel, Basel, Switzerland, discusses the path toward implementing imaging advances in clinical practice. The implementation of imaging biomarkers involves various stages, including the identification of such biomarkers, their integration into clinical practice, and standardization. The availability of reference measures to assess the value of biomarkers and cut-off values are required for quantitative techniques and are still under development. This interview took place at the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) Congress 2022 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
