ECTRIMS 2023 | Bridging the gap: patient engagement in clinical trials and care

Paola Zaratin, PhD, Italian Multiple Sclerosis Society, Genoa, Italy, highlights the pressing need to bridge the existing divide between clinical trials, research, and patient care in the realm of drug research and development. Emphasizing the importance of incorporating patient experiential knowledge, Dr Zaratin suggests that patients can be instrumental in merging these traditionally separate domains.
