AAN 2023 | The TRANSCENDS scholar program: a successful project

Bruce I. Ovbiagele, MD, MSc, FAAN, University of California, San Francisco, CA, describes the TRANSCENDS scholar program (Training in Research for Academic Neurologists to Sustain Careers and Enhance the Numbers of Diverse Scholars), which provides mentoring and training in clinical research methodology for racial and ethnic minorities to diversify the workforce. The TRANSCENDS program aims to train promising early-career neurologists to conduct high-quality neurologic research and achieve a successful academic career. This interview took place at the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting 2023 in Boston, MA.
