Yeah so I was given a talk on whether the pattern of covert infarcts can identify the mechanism and and whether it can predict the prognosis of an individual. I’ll have to admit that that was a very challenging topic because the reality is that there is positive data on that I think as a community, as neurologists and stroke physicians, we feel that the pattern plays a role. But the reality is that we don’t have a great insight on whether the different patterns can tell you about the source of these covert infarcts. But more importantly, what influence they can have on the prognosis. And to take it a step forward, the other thing is that we don’t have really good treatments to reduce those infarcts from accruing. There was also a very interesting discussion. It was a whole session on that, so we’re able to exchange ideas between presenters and also the audience. And I hope that in the coming years we’ll have much more to share on this very interesting topic.
