There are evidences published in the literature showing that implementation of CODE-ICH may improve functional outcome in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage. Davey and colleagues from Switzerland showed in the cerebrovascular disease paper that CODE-ICH may improve functional outcome in patients with ICH. And the Spanish cohort found that the care bundle implementation may benefit within eight hours...

Davey and colleagues from Switzerland showed in the cerebrovascular disease paper that CODE-ICH may improve functional outcome in patients with ICH. And the Spanish cohort found that the care bundle implementation may benefit within eight hours. However, when we look at the care bundle implementation in the Spain cohort, they found only 27.7% of the patients have successfully implemented the care bundle, suggesting there is still enough space for improvement. And the hardest thing to do is blood pressure control. In their cohort, they found only around 50% of the patients with ICH had blood pressure under control in a timely manner.
