Christian Cajochen, PhD, Psychiatric Hospital of the University of Basel, Basel, Switzerland, comments on the objectives of the newly renamed Society of Light Rhythms and Circadian Health (SLTBR), aiming to increase awareness and integration of chronobiology in clinical settings. The society seeks to set standards and establish circadian medicine units in hospitals to help specialties like neurology and endocrinology optimize patient treatment based on circadian biology. Additionally, SLTBR encourages healthcare professionals to join the society and the International Association of Circadian Health Clinics to advance circadian medicine globally.
