Neurological complications associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection have been consistently reported, affecting both the central and peripheral nervous systems. Nizar Souayah, MD, FAAN, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ, talks on the neurological manifestations of COVID-19, including hypothesized methods of neuroinvasion and the involvement of aberrant cytokine levels.
