William Curt LaFrance Jr, MD, MPH, FAAN, FANPA, DFAPA, Brown University, Providence, RI, discusses the issues with current clinical care for patients with functional neurological disorders (FNDs). FND patients present with a range of neurologic, psychiatric, medical, historical, and developmental issues. Clinicians must learn to view these symptoms from multiple perspectives and have dialogues with other specialists in order to improve clinical care. This interview took place at the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting 2023 in Boston, MA.
