AAN 2023 | PURE: a program for non-motor PD symptoms

Chantale Branson, MD, Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, discusses the PURE Program for Non-motor Symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease (PD). PURE comprised workshops focusing on exercise, nutrition, and mental health, respectively, and emphasized to patients the potential that these factors have to impact non-motor PD symptoms. The program had positive feedback, and Dr. Branson hopes to extend the program’s accessibility to more patients. This interview took place at the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting 2023 in Boston, MA.
