AAN 2023 | Issues with essential tremor therapies

Chantale Branson, MD, Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, discusses current difficulties in treating essential tremor. The pathomechanism of essential tremor is not one disease, which makes it more difficult to treat. Potential therapies include T-type calcium channel inhibitors, which have not yet been validated in humans, and MRI-guided FUS.
