Chantale Branson, MD, Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, discusses current difficulties in treating essential tremor. The pathomechanism of essential tremor is not one disease, which makes it more difficult to treat. Potential therapies include T-type calcium channel inhibitors, which have not yet been validated in humans, and MRI-guided FUS. This interview took place at the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting 2023 in Boston, MA.
