Francesco Saccà, MD, PhD, University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy, discusses the landscape of myasthenia gravis (MG) research. There are many new real-world reports on MG, with many research groups around the world trying the new therapies available and reporting results. Dr Saccà highlights the importance of using Myasthenia Gravis Activities of Daily Living Scale (MG-ADL) and Quantitative Myasthenia Gravis (QMG) as frequently as possible, as consistent use of these scales enables data to be grouped and facilitates better understanding of how these treatments work.
