ESOC 2024 | An international research agenda on cerebral venous thrombosis

Diana Aguiar de Sousa, MD, PhD, Lisbon Central University Hospital & University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal, talks on the most important research questions in the field of cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT), as outlined in a recently published international research agenda. Producing high quality evidence in the field of CVT is challenging given its rarity. By defining research priorities, reinforcing international collaboration, and facilitating funding acquisition, the research agenda hopes to enable key questions to be answered, advancing the understanding and management of CVT. This interview took place at the 10th European Stroke Organisation Conference (ESOC) 2024 in Basel, Switzerland.
