VJVirtual | Establishing consensus guidelines for Dravet syndrome through a Delphi process

Katherine Nickels, MD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, comments on the development of a Delphi consensus for Dravet syndrome recommendations, highlighting the importance of a multidisciplinary international steering committee with global representation. Dr Nickels explains that the consensus was reached through two voting rounds, with statements finalized if there was high consensus or reformulated if there was good consensus. This process resulted in the development of 34 statements, which will guide initial consultation practices for Dravet syndrome. This interview was recorded via an online conference call with The Video Journal of Neurology (VJNeurology).
