Accelerating time to treatment: new approaches to pre-hospital and in-hospital stroke care

Stroke is a highly time-sensitive clinical event and as such, optimizing workflow is of critical importance, even before a patient reaches the hospital. Transfer protocols are being revised to improve access to thrombectomy for patients.
