As president of the Portuguese neurology residents and young neurologists committee, Catarina Saraiva Fernandes, MD, Coimbra Hospital and University Centre (CHUC), Coimbra, Portugal, discusses initiatives led by young neurologists and specialists, including hosting the Resident and Research Fellow Section (RRFS) meeting in Portugal and developing projects focused on mental health and health education. She also highlights efforts to organize a two-day congress for young neurologists and prepare a regional European Academy of Neurology (EAN) teaching course, aiming to enhance collaboration and communication among neurology residents across Portugal.
