ECTRIMS 2024 | Investigating evobrutinib and other BTK inhibitors for the treatment of MS

Anneke Van der Walt, PhD, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, discusses the use of evobrutinib, a Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor, for treating patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Although the results from clinical trials investigating this agent in relapsing and progressive MS have been disappointing, other drugs in this class, such as tolebrutinib, are showing promise. This interview took place at the 40th Congress of the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS 2024) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
