Maya Zeineddine, PharmD, Lebanese American University, Byblos, Lebanon, discusses a real-world study investigating the comparative effectiveness of natalizumab and anti-CD20 antibodies in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The study revealed that both therapies are effective in managing disease activity, but natalizumab was superior in some outcomes. However, there was a higher discontinuation rate of natalizumab due to adverse events. This interview took place at the 40th Congress of the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS 2024) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
