AAN 2021 | Management of circadian rhythm disturbances in neurology patients

Michelle Jonelis, MD, Redwood Pulmonary Medical Associates, Redwood City, CA, gives an overview of her presentation on the management of sleep disorders in neurology patients presented at the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) 2021 Annual Meeting. Although Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients frequently have complaints regarding sleeping disorders, there are no formal guidelines for managing and treating these conditions in these patients. Dr Jonelis gives therapy recommendations for PD patients with sleep complaints such as circadian rhythm disturbances and insomnia.
