Laszlo Vecsei, MD, PhD, DSc, University of Szeged, Szeged, Hungary, discusses cognitive decline in multiple sclerosis (MS). It is likely that cognitive impairment starts much earlier in MS than previously thought. It is also an important aspect of the disease as it can have significant impacts on a patient’s life and their ability to work. However, there is currently not enough data to justify changing the medication of patients based on cognitive impairment. This interview took place during the Virtual World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) 2020.
