Marta Ponzano, MD, Link Campus University, Rome, Italy, comments on the importance of recognizing and addressing the broader impact of multiple sclerosis (MS) on patients’ daily lives, beyond just physical symptoms. Dr Ponzano highlights the need for a collaborative approach, involving neurologists, social support, psychological support, and public health, to identify and address social problems and other less visible aspects of the disease.
