AHS 2023 | Pediatric headache didactic series: educational intervention

The pediatric headache didactic series takes place every other Friday virtually. Sara Pavitt, MD, University Of Texas, Austin, TX, one of the founders, describes the rationale behind the series. Pediatric headache is a small field, which means that fellows are often trained by a small number of faculty members. The pediatric headache didactic series aims to change this by inviting lecturers from around the world to educate fellows based on UCNS-recommended topics and other current subjects. Since its initiation, the series has grown to include other professionals who want to learn about pediatric headache, such as physician associates and nurses. This interview took place at the American Headache Society 2023 meeting in Austin, TX.
