ESOC 2024 | Searching for biomarkers in CADASIL

Helena Karlström, PhD, Karolinska Institutet, Solna, Sweden, discusses an ongoing study looking to identify new biomarkers in CADASIL, to better predict development of the disease and to test the efficacy of future treatments. The team are assessing transcriptomic and proteomic signatures in the vessel wall, as well as serum markers that could provide more insights into this rare disease. This interview took place at the 10th European Stroke Organisation Conference (ESOC) 2024 in Basel, Switzerland.
