AHS 2023 | Pediatric headache: future treatment

Sara Pavitt, MD, University Of Texas, Austin, TX, discusses future research in pediatric headache. There is an unmet need for migraine prevention drugs, with only one approved medication for children over 12 and none for children under 12. Dr. Pavitt also hopes that biomarkers and phenotypes can be used to individualize treatment for patients. This interview took place at the American Headache Society 2023 meeting in Austin, TX.
