Jaslovleen Kaur, MBBS, National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore & Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, India, outlines the need to enhance awareness of early symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Whilst motor symptoms are widely recognized by clinicians and patients, non-motor symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, and mood changes may more likely be dismissed. Increasing education amongst patients and clinicians can improve the rate of early diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. This interview took place at the 2022 International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders in Madrid, Spain.
