AHS 2023 | Early diagnosis in pediatric migraine

Sara Pavitt, MD, University Of Texas, Austin, TX, explains the importance of diagnosing migraine early in children. Migraine can express itself in many ways in the pediatric population, including abdominal migraine, association with colic, and cyclic vomiting syndrome. These symptoms must be identified and diagnosed as early as possible to start a treatment plan. This interview took place at the American Headache Society 2023 meeting in Austin, TX.
