Barbara Casolla, MD, PhD, Nice Cote d’Azur University, Nice, France, discusses the European Stroke Organization’s (ESO) available simulation training, which allow clinicians to develop skills in stroke management and treatment in a protected setting before gaining real-world experience. Simulations involve the optimization of decision making for stroke patients and in-hospital pathways for mechanical thrombectomy and thrombolysis. This interview took place during the European Stroke Organisation Conference (ESOC) in Munich, Germany.
