EAN 2021 | Patient’s history: an essential tool for migraine diagnosis
Raquel Gil-Gouveia, MD, PhD, Hospital da Luz, Lisbon, Portugal, explains the lack of diagnostic tests for migraine and suggests that a knowledgeable doctor who listens to the patient is the most critical tool for migraine diagnosis. Dr Gil-Gouveia highlights the importance of a good headache history, which allows the physician to recognize a pattern that can lead to the correct diagnosis. This interview took place during the European Academy of Neurology 2021 congress.
