Daniel Goldenholz, MD, PhD, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA, discusses the present and potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in neurology. Current applications of AI in neurology include devices for seizure detection in epilepsy, sleep analysis tools, and imaging analysis. Despite the small number of current applications, the field is rapidly growing, with many more applications expected in the near future, with every area of neurology having the potential to benefit from AI. This interview took place at the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting 2023 in Boston, MA.
