ESOC 2024 | Following up with patients after stroke

Hanne Christensen, MD, PhD, MSci, from the University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark, emphasizes the importance of following up with patients after a stroke, noting that few countries currently do this effectively. Previous research shows that following up with patients after a stroke increases education and adherence, highlighting the need for further studies to determine which methods are feasible and effective. This interview took place at the 10th European Stroke Organisation Conference in Basel, Switzerland.
