Mitzi Joi Williams, MD, FAAN, is a Board-Certified Neurologist and Fellowship-trained Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Specialist, with over 15 years of clinical experience. She earned her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, where she now serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. Her specialized training in MS care and her extensive experience in both research and clinical practice have established her as a leading advocate for equitable MS treatment, especially for underserved communities.

Dr Williams is the Founder and CEO of Joi Life Wellness Group, Smyrna, GA, a healthcare organization that provides comprehensive MS care, and the Joi Life Foundation, a nonprofit that supports diverse representation in MS research. She is also a published author, with her best-selling book, You Can Live Well with Multiple Sclerosis, empowering readers with insights on living well with MS.
