EAN 2024 | Factors influencing RLS risk and progression

Ambra Stefani, MD, PhD, Medical University of Innsbruck, Innsbruck, Austria, explains the current research on the factors influencing risk and progression in restless leg syndrome (RLS). There are gaps in the understanding of the different phenotypes of patients with RLS. Research into RLS is increasing to better characterize disease trajectories and treatment response patterns in order to improve prognostication and personalized management. This interview took place at the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) Annual Meeting 2024 in Helsinki, Finland.
