Antonio Gil-Nagel, MD, PhD, Hospital Ruber Internacional, Madrid, Spain, discusses the advantages of monitoring epilepsy with ambulatory electroencephalograms (EEGs). Ambulatory EEGs enable patients to be monitored in their natural home environment along with environmental stressors such as behavior, relationship and sleeping issues.
