Andrea Gardoni, PhD(c), Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, Italy, shares insights into structural and functional changes of the cerebellum and amygdala in individuals with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and freezing of gait. He explains how these findings may reflect altered motor and emotional network integration and could help guide future rehabilitation and neuromodulation strategies.
